- Hetha manufactures its own Badri cow (A2) Bilona ghee using the traditional method and this guarantees quality.
- It takes about 30 to 35 ltrs of Badri cow A2 milk to produce 1 litre Bilona Ghee using the traditional method. Badri cow A2 milk -> set curd-> churn curd -> extract butter -> melt butter over low flame to form pure Himalayan Badri cow (A2) Bilona ghee.
- Badri/Pahari desi cow is a native cow species of Uttarakhand. This cow grazes in the Himalayas on native herbs and shrubs and hence its milk has high medicinal value. This breed is blessed with strong immunity.
- Badri breed was recently listed under accession no. INDIA_CATTLE_2400_BADRI_03040 by the ICAR- National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources (NBAGR).
- Hetha is working towards the propagation and conservation of Badri cows in the Champawat district of Uttarakhand.
